About Thrad Weibley

Have you ever said "Music is my therapy"?

Through music therapy, we can work together to discover, develop, and define ways in which the use of music can directly facilitate achieving your personal goals. With every client, my immediate goal is to meet that person where they are. It is my ethical obligation and privilege to acknowledge, explore and learn about each person’s culture and context in order to authentically meet them where they are. Every human being is dynamic and evolving, so person-specific goals will emerge through the relationships that form through through the use of music.

Music therapy is a reflexive process wherein my focus is to help you enhance your health and well-being through various musical experiences that will serve as a catalyst for change. My approach is integrative and humanistic, person-centered. Our therapy space will be a safe, judgment-free zone that is informed and guided by your needs and goals.

My mission is to universally promote the welfare and agency of clients through integrative therapeutic musical experiences.

Insurance

Music therapy is currently not licensed in the state of Louisiana and most insurance providers do not cover or reimburse clients for music therapy services. As such, I currently only accept private pay via cash or securely through Ivy Pay.
